In the name of Jesus, I renounce sexual disintegration, brokenness, and violations of boundaries. Instead, I affirm your Lordship over me, and seek your help to live a life of sexual integrity, free from addiction and abuse.

In the name of Jesus, I renounce the temptation to reduce others to objects of sexual desire. Instead, I affirm them as whole persons in mind, body, and spirit - loved by God and connected to others (their spouse, family, friendships, the Church community).

In the name of Jesus, I renounce inappropriate attractions towards women that cannot be fulfilled appropriately. Instead, I affirm the beauty God has created in that person, offering it up in gratitude - reminding myself this person does not belong to me, but belongs first to God, and to any future spouse they might have.

In the name of Jesus, I renounce the temptation to isolate sexual pleasure in secret. Instead, I affirm God’s gift of life and pleasure and seek its integration and wholeness in the proper place and time within the marriage bond, while showing patience and sensitivity towards my wife. (For single men: redirected in prayer for strengthened chastity, in thanksgiving for his gift to couples, and for strength in marriages and building of families.)

In the name of Jesus, I renounce the evils of the porn industry - its exploitation of women, its connection to sex trafficking, its toxic effect on the mind and relationships, and the demand by weak men whose uncontrolled addictions fuel this industry. Instead, I affirm and seek out stories and images that elevate the dignity and beauty of women in non-sexualized ways.

We ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God - that the strength of her feminine genius and motherly example be with us and show us the way.
